Paul Ray Niemiller

Paul Ray Niemiller, 86 of Somerset, Pa went to his heavenly home March 27, 2025 at Patriot Village.  Born April 12, 1938, son of the late Joseph and Sadie (Long) Neimiller.  Preceded in death by wife Emma Jean (Caler) in 2017.  Also preceded in death by brothers Royal, Joseph, and Charles Neimiller, sister Nora McClintock, and granddaughter Joydawn Workman Gaal.  Paul is survived by daughters Wanda Workman and Brenda Custer (husband Tim), Grandchildren Lee Workman (wife Bonnie), Christy Keller (husband Tom), Tim and Jayson Custer,  Great grandchildren Tessa Herwig (husband Preston), Mya, Jacob, and Nellie Keller, Nikles Gaal, and Jadyn Shifflett (husband Aaron).  Also survived by nephews Ken Neimiller (wife Debbie), Lester Neimiller (wife Penny), and niece Linda Zerfoss (husband Lloyd).  Paul retired from Somerset Area School District where he worked as a custodian.  Paul loved his family, going out to eat (especially Hoss’s in Johnstown), talking about old cars, and the stuff PennDot puts on the roads during the winter.  Friends will be received Saturday from 6pm-8pm at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home and on Sunday from 12pm-1pm until the time of service at 1pm.  Pastor Dan Judy officiating.  Interment in Walker Cemetery, Shanksville, Pa.  Condolences may be made at halversonfuneralhome.com.
