Peggy Baer

Peggy Lou Baer, 87, of Somerset passed away May 8, 2025 at MeadowView Nursing Home.  Born December 29, 1937 to the late Herman and Ethel (Berkey) Berkey. Also preceded in death by Husband Don, son Terry Baer, brother Herman Berkey, and sisters Shirley Lisbon and Janet Berkey.  She is survived by children Tammy Miller (Terry), Tracy Sanders (Charles), Todd Baer, and Tina Rozinsky (Joe), grandchildren Troy Miller (Beth), Tigh Miller (Becky), Matthew Baer (Kristen), Lindsay Shaulis, Derek Baer, Joseph Dunton (Abby), great grandchildren Tanner, Jaylin, Brandon, Westin, Gabrielle, Isla, and Layla.  Peggy was a member of the St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, and a long-time voting poll worker.  Friends will be received Monday 5pm-8pm at the Robert Halverson Funeral Home and services will be Tuesday 11am at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church with Mike Dunlap officiating. Internment will be at Pike Cemetery. The family would like to thank the UPMC hospice staff, and the staff at MeadowView for their excellent care.
