Robert D. Kalina

Robert D. Kalina Sr. 88, of Boswell, died July 30, 2022 at his residence. Born June 16, 1934, in Jenner Twp., he is the son of the late Ernest and Bertha (Kaufman) Kalina. Also preceded in death by his wife Miriam Isabella (Taylor) Kalina, infant sister Anna Delores, grandson Eric Frampton and great grandchildren Carson Beahr and Andrew Kalina. Survived by children: Robert D. Kalina Jr. and wife Bonnie, Dorothy Hershberger, Brian Kalina and wife Lori, Ronald Kalina and wife Kim, Darlene Frampton, Lisa Witt and husband Mark and Lori Friedline and husband Jeff. Also 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Robert was a member of the Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ferndale Sportsman Club. He was a retired truck driver for Hard Hat Trucking, enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, playing the organ and could tell you anything about the bible and he liked to give everyone nick names. Friends will be received from 4-8 Wednesday in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME and from 10 to 11 am Thursday in the Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church where services will immediately Thursday with Vicar Allen Stump  officiating.
