Robert E. Leasock Sr.

Robert E. Leasock Sr., 80, of Somerset, died June 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Born March 24, 1940, in Stoystown he is the son of the late Stephen and Vera (Horner) Leasock. Also preceded in death by brother, John Sheldon Leasock and sisters, Alma Shank and Lois Miller. Survived by his wife Brenna (Durst) Leasock, children, Robert  E. Leasock Jr. and wife Rebecca of Rockwood, Tara Leasock and fiancé Telford Sarver Jr. of Somerset and Eddie Leasock of Boswell. Grandchildren: Amber Roadman, Elizabeth and Nicholas Leasock, Brandon and Halley Friedline, Brenna Sarver, Mia Leasock and fiancé Travis Tresco. Great grandchildren: Carter Krieger, Gage Friedline, Preston Walker Tresco, Elliott Spencer Tresco and Shyann Nicole Shaffer. Brother of James Leasock and wife Shirley of Rockwood, Ronald Leasock of Windber, Dennis Leasock and wife Kathy of Somerset, Roger Leasock and wife Penny of Stoystown ,Delores Miller of Rockwood, Elaine Younkin of Rockwood, Karen Charlton of Friedens and Carol Wilt of Maryland. Also several nieces and nephews and special friend Troy Hauger. Robert was a member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren, retired from the State Hospital and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was loved by all. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 am Tuesday with Reverend Duane Riddle officiating. Interment in Stoystown I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
