Roy Wright

Roy Wright, 72 of Somerset was called home to the Lord October 10, 2022 at his residence. Born February 19,1950 in Somerset. He is the son of the late Richard and Thelma (Eisler) Wright.  Survived by his loving wife, Bonnie, children Michael and (Peggy), Kristine (Bob), Heidi (Frank).  Proud Grandpa of eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Also survived by sister Sandra Magnetto (Barry), brothers Ronald (Sandra), Robert (Carol), and Bruce (Joyce). James (deceased). Brother-in-law to Jean (Butch) Kennell, and Martin (Jennifer) Hurl.  Member of the Milford UMC, retired from Somerset State Hospital.  Always there when anyone needed him.  Roy was a lover of the outdoors, enjoyed fishing and hunting.  A friend to all who knew him, especially his card buddies.  Loved his family and his God, he was a strong and faithful man.  He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him.  We all loved him more than words can say.  Viewing will be Wednesday from 11-1 with a service to immediately follow at the Milford UMC with Reverend Doug Burns and Reverend Sam Coughenour officiating. Casual wear is preferred.  Internment will be at the St. John’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Milford UMC 368 Bando Rd.
