Russell H. Stahl

Russell H.”Bud” Stahl, 84, of Somerset, died January 25, 2020 at UMC Somerset. Born January 23, 1936, in Ruffsdale, he is the son of the late Edward and Nora (Hartge) Stahl. Also preceded in death of brothers, William, Earl and Donny. Survived by his wife Anna “Sally” (Dove) Stahl and these children: Daniel Stahl and wife Karen Jane, Lois Rubright and husband Robert, all of Somerset, Russell Stahl and wife Joyce of Rockwood and Carol Jean Lehman and husband Teddy of Berlin. Also 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Russell was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church of Bakersville,  life member of the Bakersville Fire Department, secretary and treasurer of the Bakersville Cemetery and helped with Make-A-Wish every year for the past 12 years. He was formerly employed by Penmarva Plumbing & Heating, the maintenance department of Hidden Valley, fuel truck driver for Walter A. Grove Company and a Jefferson Township Supervisor. He was also a graduate of Somerset High School. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 am Wednesday with Pastor Dena Gable officiating. Interment in Bakersville Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Mt.
