Ruth E. Hampe

Ruth E. Hampe 81, of Somerset, died May 23, 2024 at The Patriot. Born July 8, 1942, in Confluence, she is the daughter of the late Martin and Grace (Pletcher) Holiday. Also preceded in death by her husband David J. Hampe Sr. and brothers, Paul Harry, Jerry and Bob Holiday. Survived by sons, Joseph “Marty” Hampe and wife June and James Hampe and wife Cindy, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a sister Freda Frantz. Ruth was a member of the Somerset Christian Missionary Alliance Church and was a retired Notary Public. Friends will be received from 6-8 Saturday and from 11 to 1pm Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 1 pm with Reverend Donald Robson officiating.  Internment in Silbaugh Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at www.halversonfuneralhome.com.
