Ruth Ann Mathias

Ruth Ann Mathias, 83 of Rockwood passed away  August 7, 2022 at UPMC Somerset.  She was born June 15, 1939 in Pittsburgh to the late Edward E. and Martha (Sizer) Helms.  Ruth is also preceded in death by husband Robert O. Mathias.  She is survived by her children Robert O. Mathias III and wife Krista (Pritts) of Rockwood and Kevin Todd Mathias and wife Ann (Locklin) also of Rockwood, grandchildren Lauren Catherine Martha Mathias, Owen Edward Blackmer Mathias, Grant Osborne Helms Mathias, and Ruth Ann Caroline Mathias.  Ruth was a retired school teacher working in the Mt. Lebanon  and Rockwood School District. Friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8 in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME.  A private graveside service will be held with  Internment in the Rockwood I00F Cemetery.
