Shirley A. Speelman

Shirley A. Speelman 87, of Somerset, died November 16, 2023 at her residence. Born July 20, 1936, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Arthur and Edith Pearl (Burkett) Baker Sr. Also preceded in death by an infant sister Delores, son Robert Jr., brothers Donald Sr., James Sr. Arthur Jr. and Kenneth. Survived by her Husband Robert Speelman Sr, children: Dwayne Speelman Sr. and wife Theresa, Deborah Lynn Pyle and husband Jeffrey, Ricky Lee Speelman and Brenda Lee Dewitt and husband Russ all of Somerset. Also daughter-in-law Dorothy Speelman, 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and a brother Bruce Baker and wife Janet of Boswell. Shirley was a retired cook for the Somerset Area School District. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME where services will be held at 1:30 PM Monday with the Reverend Duane Riddle officiating.  Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
