Stanley A. Stanczyk, 88, Somerset. Died December 27, 2019 at Somerset Hospital. Born on July 1, 1931 in Quecreek to the late Walter and Helen (Borek) Stanczyk. Preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (Blackwell) Stanczyk. Survived by his children; Elizabeth A. (Lewis) Stoneberger of  Carlisle, PA, Deborah L. (David) Barndt of Somerset, PA, and Stanley A. (Judy) Stanczyk, Jr. of Cumberland, MD. Grandchildren; Summer Bolt, Jennifer Barndt, Melissa Wilson, Yasmine Sommers, Zakiyyah Winesickle, Crystal Barndt, Matthew Barndt, Brandy Pacella, and Amanda Durrant. Fifteen Great -Grandchildren. Sisters; Ruth Ankeny of Fredericksburg, VA, Alice Mankie of New Alexandria, PA, and Esther Phillippi of Somerset, PA. Brother, Daniel Stanczyk of York, PA. Stanley retired after 20-years in the United States Air Force and formally employed by Somerset Door and Column. Stanley loved nascar racing, sports, bowling, and wood carving. Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 10-1:00 PM at the First Christian Church 139 East Main Street, Somerset, PA, the Funeral Service will follow the viewing at 1:00 with Pastor Shae Frazier and Elder Jim Moon officiating.
