Thomas P. Connelly

Dr. Thomas P. Connelly, 57, of Hidden Valley, died March 28, 2018 in Pittsburgh. He was born July 29, 1960, in Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife Dr. Margaret (Steiner) Connelly, daughter Sarah Reckner and husband Robbie of Altoona, parents Neal and Linda (Romesburg) Connelly of Greensburg, and a brother Robert Connelly and wife Magin of Lake Lynn PA. He is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Connelly. Tom was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Freemasons. He and his wife owned Somerset Chiropractic Service. Dr. Tom Connelly was a generous kind soul who was respected by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  He fought with strength and dignity for a very long time with his health. His strong faith sustained him. He was a beloved husband, father, son and doctor. Friends will be received from 10 am to noon Monday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at noon with Father Daniel J. O’Neill celebrant. Committal in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery will follow.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Connelly family to help defray medical expenses.
