Verdean Estelle Keyser

Verdean Estelle Keyser 77, of Boswell, died June 23, 2022 at UPMC Somerset. Born June 12, 1945 in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Charles A. and Estelle (Verdean) Cage. Also preceded in death by a daughter Elissa Lorelle Keyser. Survived by her husband Alan Keyser Sr., children, Melanie Prosser ad husband Edward of Boswell, and Alan Keyser Jr. and wife Crystal of Boswell, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Verdean worked for 4 years at the Cleveland Clinic, 3 years at the Dole Pineapple Hospital in Hawaii and owned the Skyview Blue Berry Farm along with her husband. She served on several boards including, 10 years on the Juniata College board, 9 years on the Penn State Extension board and the Somerset County Chamber of Commerce. She was a graduate of Juniata College with a degree in Chemistry.  Friends will be received from 6-8 Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 3pm Sunday with Reverend Robert Arduino and Reverend Bill Weppelman officiating.
