Wilson William Nicklow

Wilson William Nicklow 84, of Friedens, passed away November 22, 2025 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born August 9, 1941 in Shanksville, he is the son of the late Jacob (Jake) and Marie (Baldwin) Nicklow. Survived by stepchildren Cheryl and Craig and also step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Shanksville High School and was previously employed by Specht’s Plastic, Tom Moran Trucking and Somerset Boro from where he retired. Wilson was a quiet man and kept to himself. He was mechanically inclined and was always building things and gadgets. He loved dogs, especially his Chihuahua Hobo. He enjoyed riding the numerous Harley Davidson Sportsters he owned. A thank you to the nurses at Meadow View for their care, Cassie and the nurses at Interim Health for their care for Wilson. Friends will be received from 2-4 Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will immediately follow with Reverend Mathew Howe officiating. Interment in Walker Cemetery. Condolences may be made at wwwhalversonfunerlhome.com.
