The Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home has been serving families in Somerset County and surrounding areas for over 60 years with caring and personalized services.  We offer traditional services, cremation services and pre-need services to suit your needs.  Our staff is dedicated to serving each family with the professionalism, dignity and respect they deserve.  As you deal with the loss of your loved one, we will assist you through each step of the funeral process, and try to make a difficult time easier for you to bear.  The Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home was founded in 1958 by Mr. Robert H. Halverson.  The building was originally a private residence that was built in 1926 by the Krebs family.  In 1986 an addition was added to the building which included a spacious chapel and viewing room, casket selection room, office and additional garage space.  In 1998, Mr. Halverson retired and sold the business to a local funeral director, James H. Kight, present owner and operator of the funeral home.  Mr. Kight has continued in the funeral home's tradition of providing dignified and professional services that cater to the personalized wishes of each family.
